The Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh
Lambasingi is the one place in South India where the thermometer regularly drops to single digits — and on the coldest December nights, close to zero. Rayudu Resort's sits right beside the View Point, so the fog reaches your veranda before it reaches the road.
Our cottages are simple, warm and hand-painted, wrapped in a garden of coffee, pepper and wildflowers. Evenings are for the bonfire; mornings are for hot Araku coffee while the valley slowly reappears.

Included with your stay
Lit at dusk, kept going till late. Bring a jacket — it drops fast after sunset.
A guided walk through the coffee and pepper estates that surround the property.
Signature resort experiences
Jeep safaris, the nightly campfire and guided sightseeing are arranged by the resort itself. Tick them in the booking bar and we'll price them with your room.
Signature experience
Open-top Mahindra jeeps, local drivers who have grown up on these trails, and a 5:30 AM start that puts you above the cloud line before the sun clears the ridge.

Every night, weather permitting
The wood is stacked at dusk and lit as the temperature drops. Music, Araku-spiced barbecue off the coals, and almost no light pollution overhead.
Resort-guided
Private transport and a driver who knows which roads are passable, so you spend the day looking at the valley instead of at a map with no signal.
Amenities
No resort fee, no surprises at check-out. The bonfire, the parking, the morning coffee and round-the-clock hot water are part of the tariff — jeep safaris and guided sightseeing are the only extras, and they're priced per vehicle.
Round-the-clock hot water in every attached bathroom — the thing that matters most at 6°C.
A bonfire on the lawn every night, and a private fire pit you can book for your group alone.
4x4 Mahindra jeeps with local drivers for sunrise viewpoint runs and off-road valley trails.
Beans from the estates that begin where our garden ends, brewed from six in the morning.
Private verandas facing straight down the valley, where the fog line rises past the railing.
Gated parking inside the property, with a rest area and meals for drivers who bring guests up.
Wi-Fi in the common areas. Mobile signal is patchy on the hill — plan calls, not live meetings.
