Frequently asked questions
Yes — every attached bathroom at Rayudu Resort's has its own geyser and hot water runs 24 hours a day, including through the coldest December nights. Camp-tent guests use the shared washroom block, where hot water is available through the morning. This matters more than people expect: the tap water on the hill is genuinely cold, and plenty of Lambasingi properties only heat water at fixed hours.
Lambasingi is about 115 km from Visakhapatnam and the drive takes three and a half to four hours. The usual route is Vizag → Anakapalle → Narsipatnam → Chintapalli → Lambasingi. The last hour is a ghat road with tight bends and, in season, thick fog — so drive it in daylight, fill fuel at Narsipatnam and download your maps before you lose signal. APSRTC buses run from Vizag, Anakapalle, Narsipatnam and Chintapalli, and taxis are available at Visakhapatnam airport and railway station.
Yes. A wooden bonfire is lit on the lawn at dusk every evening the weather allows, and it is included in your tariff — there is no separate charge to sit around it. You can also book a private campfire with your own Andhra barbecue grill for your group alone; tell us at check-in or tick the option in the booking bar.
Yes. We run 4x4 jeeps with local drivers — a sunrise run to the Lambasingi View Point that puts you above the cloud line before the sun clears the ridge, a misty valley expedition through the coffee and pepper estates, and private cloud-point drives for couples. Each jeep seats six to seven, the trip takes two to three hours, and it is priced per vehicle rather than per head. Tick it in the booking bar and we'll quote it with your room.
We are in the off-season, so every stay is ₹500 per room per night until 31 October — down from the regular tariff of ₹2,171. From 1 November the regular season rates apply, and peak weekends between November and January cost more again. Whatever the date, we confirm the exact figure on WhatsApp in writing before you pay any advance.
Check-in is from 12:00 noon and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are possible when the room is free — just ask us on WhatsApp the day before you travel.
The bonfire, parking, morning tea or coffee and 24/7 hot water are all included in the tariff — there is no resort fee. Meals are charged separately as per the day's menu. Jeep safaris and guided sightseeing are the only other extras, and both are priced per vehicle, not per person.
Message us on WhatsApp at +91 73824 58873 with your dates and guest count, or use the booking bar on this site — it opens a WhatsApp chat with all the details filled in. We reply with availability and the rate, and a part advance confirms the booking.
Yes. The family cottage sleeps four to five, there is a small play area on the lawn, and the kitchen will cook plain food for children on request. Children under five stay free.
In December and January the night temperature commonly drops to between 4°C and 8°C, and the fog rolls in around dawn. Bring a proper jacket, a cap and gloves — a light sweater is not enough.

You can, but we'd rather you didn't. The final stretch from Narsipatnam is a ghat road, and in season the fog cuts visibility badly after dark. Plan to arrive before sunset.
Mobile signal is patchy on the hill and drops out entirely in places along the road up. Carry a power bank, download your maps before you leave Narsipatnam, and treat the trip as a chance to be off the grid for a night.
Please message us before booking. We handle pets case by case depending on which stays are occupied that weekend.
