Rayudu Resort's veranda and cafe lit at night

Araku coffee · Andhra kitchen · Bonfire grill

Dining

One small kitchen, cooking the food this region actually eats — and a bonfire grill that runs every night the weather allows.

The garden path into Rayudu Resort's

The cafe

Coffee grown on the hill you're standing on

Lambasingi and Araku sit in the same coffee belt, and the estates start where our garden ends. The filter coffee served on the veranda from six in the morning comes from beans grown within a short drive of the resort — which is the whole reason it tastes different up here.

The rest of the kitchen is straightforward Andhra home cooking: rice, pappu, rasam, gongura, country chicken, and biryani when you give us the notice. Spice is adjusted on request, and the kitchen is happy to cook plain for children and older guests.

The menu

Bonfire and lights on the lawn at night
Every evening, weather permitting

The bonfire is lit at dusk and the grill goes on beside it

Tell us at check-in how many are eating and what you'd like on the coals. In December, come out in your warmest layer — it drops close to freezing by ten o'clock.

Pure veg on request

Tell us in advance and the kitchen will cook and serve your meals entirely separately.

Spice, your way

Andhra food is hot by default. Say the word and it's cooked mild — no one minds.

Order ahead

Biryani and bamboo chicken need about an hour. Message us the day before and it's ready on arrival.

Allergies

Let us know at booking. It's a small kitchen, so we can genuinely work around it.
